Solitude

We learn solitude from Jesus. Jesus went into solitude all the time.

1. He would go into solitude before he was about to do something big. Like when he went into the wilderness for 40 days before he started doing ministry.  

2. He would go into solitude to recharge after doing hard work. Like after he fed 5,000 people.

3. He would go into solitude when he was grieving. Like when his cousin John the baptist was beheaded.

4. Jesus would go into solitude when he had an important decision to make. Like when he chose his 12 apostles.

5. Jesus would go into solitude to focus on prayer.

6. Jesus would go into solitude in times of distress. Like when he was about to be arrested and killed on the cross.
