I Am a New Creation

As we continue to answer the question, "Who are you?" we turn our attention to one of the most fascinating, mysterious, incredible revelations from God to us. "If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation." It is a revelation because it is not something a mere human mind would ever conceive on its own. Because, as Tim Keller says, the identity that comes from being in Christ is "the only identity in the history of the world that is received and not achieved." God reveals that when someone puts their faith in Christ they literally become something completely new. Understanding this identity changes everything we do! It sets us free like nothing else, to be who God created us to be.
